I love the smell of fallout in the morning. It smells like iodine and strontium.

Thanks, James. Now I have to go look up “strontium”!
Serafin - I really like it. In fact, I like it more and more all the time.
I should explain the position of Lord Astaroth in the banner. Like all good interrogators, Lord Astaroth, Prince of Accusers and Inquisitors, wanted his presence keenly felt, but didn’t necessarily want his lovely mug up there front and center. So you see him there in the corner, (you can even see his hand steering the reigns of his demon mount - very symbolic!), but you don’t actually see his face.
He was very pleased with the outcome.

Nice, but now I am going to have to go to the mise en abyme well one more time.
I am frustrated that sometime this weekend I came across someone new’s picture with the fiery mushroom cloud right above their head, but in graying Boomer fashion, I have totally lost my mental pointer to who it was, or even what chain of links I was following at the time.

Oaktown Girl,
I’m glad people like the banner.
It was fun to do - glad I could help out. -

Oaktown Girl, strontium is what gives fireworks that lovely bright red color, and strontium-90 is what helps give fallout such a long shelf life.

Ka-Boom!
Thanks so much James. I never did have the chance to look it up. (Plus I’m sure I like your explanation better than any I could find anywhere else).Smash the State: Nuke the world!

I think it’s beautiful. As a former bandmate of mine once said, “don’t wait for nuclear annihilation — do it yourself!”
